lyrics

[Verse 1 -- D-Fro]
Look at the way we're living
I can see hunger in the eyes of the children
I'm surprised that there's billions
Going straight into the system
We live as the victims
Caught up in a world that feels more like a prison
You think they would listen
But instead of change, we sit around reminiscing
We blame it on the times being different
I despise the lies that have risen
We wait in line, satisfied with what's given
But again we contend with men
That sin, drink gin and steal from their friends
When will it end, we're sent to brink of insanity
Can it be enemies of our own existence?
Wishing they were gone in an instant
But they're persistent, so i write another sentence
For kids with a wish list that get nothing for Christmas
Or people with a business that was dismissed
It will be hard, but we can get through this

[Hook -- D-Fro]
Innocence, in a sense, is the opposite of greed
People take what they want, and repel what they need
It's just wrong what goes on, nobody takes the lead
In order to grow you have to start with the seed
I look around town and see people living poorly
In every other city there's not a different story
So in order to fix what I've done wrong
I pour out my rhymes on every single song

[Verse 2 -- Tru Lyric]
If I could flip my life back to the track where
We barely got by from the memories I've had there
Would I? Never, but yet and still it haunts me forever
But i told myself my kids will always live a life better
Than i ever did do everything I never did
But they will live their own lives, I'd never make them leverage
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a gangsta and I wasn't broke
But money was scarce and family issues made my mind choke
The streets of my hometown don't get sun but smoke
And are red with the blood of people that I once said hello
The radio is telling me there's one life on the mic
That is money sex drugs guns, there is no light
Opaque, this a nightmare, shake me awake
But my dad said fear no man fear is not on my plate
So I strap up, lyrically, biblically, the chances of me winninning are slim
But I'll keep spittin till infinity

[Hook -- Tru Lyric]
Innocence, in a sense, is the opposite of greed
People taking what they want, and repelling what they need
This is wrong what goes on, nobody's taking the lead
Success or a failure, you still need to plant the seed
Now up in this new town, people living poorly
It's funny, in 810 there's still the same story
So in order to show people what's goin on
We pour out our rhymes on every single song

[Verse 3 -- Tru Lyric]
Liar is sayin well at least I'm not a hijacker
Hijacker sayin I won't shoot you dead and smile at ya
Killer is sayin bro at least I'm not in prison
Prisoner sayin I woulda did it all different
Slavery, you think its done homeboy that's what you're made to think
Where do we get the mindset, yo its clear to me
Hey Jay-Z why don't you stop boostin up yourself
And take the billions that you own and help somebody else!

[Verse 3 -- D-Fro]
Cuz right now people barely getting by
Getting high, ruined lives never think about compromise
They wise with the wisdom of the streets, the hood is where they teach
But it's never done correctly so they only listen to the beats
And rap about drugs, thugs, and pulling slugs
But they really need a hug and some love from up above
So the time is now, you got to change your life
And if it's done correctly we can make it right

[Hook -- D-Fro]
Innocence, in a sense, is the opposite of greed
People taking what they want, and repelling what they need
It's just wrong what goes on, cause nobody takes the lead
In order to grow you have to start with the seed
I look around town and see people living poorly
In every other city there's not a different story
So in order to fix what I've done wrong
I pour out my rhymes on every single song
